Where's My Book Now?
What the heck is "Where's My Book Now?"??? Through a service called BookCrossing, copies of my books will be sent out on their own for the World to discover. Here's how it works: Person A gets a copy of one of my books (from me for free), logs its code number (located inside the front cover) at BookCrossing.com, reads the book, then passes it on. They can just hand it to Person B or leave it in a public place. A sticker on the book's cover identifies it as a BookCrossing book. However they get it, Person B logs the book in, reads it, and passes it on or leaves it. Persons B through Z, or AA, or ZZZZZ keep the book moving. (If you've ever logged in a dollar bill on Where'sGeorge.com, this is pretty much the same thing, but with books.) What's in it for me? People become familiar with my books. What's in it for you? You get to read a great book for free. (Amazon and Goodreads reviews are always appreciated!!)
Tomorrow morning, a copy of The River will be on its way out into the world. The "Where's My Book Now?" project is kicking off. Anyone who wants to start a book on its journey (for free, of course), can contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org).
