I started writing short stories when I was in Junior High school.  I don't recall ever finishing any of them, but I enjoyed the writing that I did.  At some point I discovered I had a penchant for telling my stories in three minutes rather than a few hundred pages and started writing songs.  After more years than I care to remember -or admit to- one publishing contract, and one CD later, I returned to my original medium; the short story.  I released a collection of shorts titled "Dark Glasses and Other Tales" a few years ago, and it was so well-received I decided to try my hand at writing a novel.  That project turned into "The River".  My work is primarily in my two favorite genres, Horror and Crime, but I've begun to branch out a bit to include some Sci-Fi and Thriller as well.

To date, I have released seven books; the short story collection that started it all; DARK GLASSES and Other Tales, a second and third collection, THE CABIN IN THE WOODS and Other Tales, and THE STATION and Other Tales, as well as four novels, the previously-mentioned THE RIVER, as well as IRIS, MURDER IN THE VALLEY, and 187 MUSIC ROW.  I'm currently working on a new Crime novel featuring fan-favorite Detective Dan McNulty which is set against a Major League Baseball backdrop titled SUPERSTAR, and a fourth, as-yet-untitled, collection of shorts.

My books have made it to every corner of the US, as well as Canada, England, Japan, and Australia.  It's been a very exciting journey so far and can only get better.
